Web Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary:
Sezmi seeks a talented Web Maintenance Engineer, experienced in J2EE, Spring, SOA solutions and in LAMP (PHP), to maintain, test and deploy Sezmi suite of services and applications. This position is hands-on. We use cutting-edge technologies, and are big fans of opensource initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Member of the Web Development team, reporting to the Director of Web Development and Systems.
  • Ensure the quality of the software, driving design and code reviews.
  • Implement last-minute change requests, fit-and-finish.
  • Work with the IT team to deploy and configure the Web systems in the release environments (test, prod).
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and do the needed to fix the issues (proper coding, configuring, packaging).
  • familiar with professional SDLC and tools (with source control, dev/integration/stage/prod release cycle, continuous deployment, release and change control management)
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in coding Web services and Web frontends, in PHP, Java, JSP.
  • Experience with J2EE, servlets, Spring.
  • Experience with high-available, scalable, secure architecture.
  • Experience with Apache, Tomcat, REST, SOAP, SOA.
  • SQL Databases, LDAP, Hibernate.
  • Authentication, Single Sign On, SAML.
  • Familiar with Web portals, e-commerce, social network solutions.
  • Working experience with builds, Linux Redhat, network, DNS.
Desirable Skills:
  • Web server administration, logging, reporting, benchmarking, test automation, scaling of MySql, Web Servers, Application Servers.
  • Experience in deployment of Web portals, e-commerce, social network solutions.
  • CRM, Joomla, eGroupWare, SugarCRM, Liferay
  • Unix/Linux.
  • Experience in monitoring tools, reporting softwares, ETLs.
Education:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
