Sezmi

Martin Lundie is the chief financial officer at Sezmi. No stranger to technology start-ups, he brings more than 20 years of experience in management, operations, and finance to Sezmi.

Most recently, he was chief financial officer at Picolight Incorporated, an optical transceiver company, and assisted in the turnaround and sale of the company.

Previously, Lundie was CFO of Lightwave Microsystems Corporation, a manufacturer of planar lightwave circuit products including optical multiplexors, demultiplexors and variable optical attenuators. Prior to that, he was the CFO of Vixel Corporation, a manufacturer of hubs and transceivers. Lundie was a founder, CFO and the seed investor of Polystor Corporation, a lithium ion battery manufacturer.

In addition, Lundie was a founder and CFO of Read-Rite Corporation, a leading thin film head manufacturer for the disk drive industry. He also served as general manager, CFO and founder of Read-Rite’s Thailand subsidiary. He was instrumental in the recruiting and training of 3,000 employees, which helped position the company for an initial public offering in 1991.

Martin received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a law degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He was admitted to the Bar in South Africa and successfully completed all parts of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Examination (AICPA).
